The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Mobile values freedom, responsibility, acceptance of others without judgment, world community, and respect for the entire interconnected web of existence. UUFM is a church without dogma and has members with a variety of backgrounds and religious perspectives. UUFM has ministries for all ages that educate, encourage, advocate for a better world, and build relationships in a warm, caring community.

Q. What do people wear to church?
A. Typical dress at Mobile UUFM is informal. Wear whatever you are comfortable in.
Q. What kind of people will I find at your church?
A. Free thinkers of all sorts. Come and see for yourself!
Q. How large is your congregation?
A. We have around 60 adult members, about 35 of whom will be found attending a typical Sunday morning program.
Q. What goes on during your Sunday morning program?
A. We are a combination of minister and lay-led congregation, and the program format can vary depending on the presenter, but we make a point of including time for song and discussion. Visitors and members alike are greeted at the door and visitors are shown where the refreshments are located. Feel free to sit anywhere you like.
After the Story for All Ages, and at the last verse of a song, children are welcome to go with the Children's Religious Director and teachers to the children's building next to the Fellowship hall. They will be enjoy activities appropriate for their age group. Children are welcome to stay with their parents as well. Infant care is available.
Q. What sort of topics does your Minister or speakers address?
A. Members of the congregation, the Minister and outside speakers address a wide variety of topics. Titles from previous weeks can be seen below on the Events page.
Q. Where are you located and where should I park?
A. We are on Old Shell Road just East of Hillcrest Rd. Our address is: 6345 Old Shell Road, Mobile Al 36608. There is visitor parking directly in front as you drive in. Should it be filled, feel free to park anywhere in the area. Handicap parking exists in front of Mahan Hall.
Q. What should I do when I come in to your church the first time?
A. There is nothing to do but be welcomed at the door and be seated for the service when the music starts. Enjoy the service and please stay for refreshments after the service.
